    Trucking Fatalities vs. Total Road Fatalities

     

    An article published in Transport Topics on October 4th 2018 points out an interesting irony in the number of fatality accidents in 2017.  According to this article the overall number of road fatalities in 2017  decreased by 2% while the number of large truck fatalities increased by 16% during the same time period.  The major contributor in this increase is due to occupants in the large trucks not wearing seatbelts.  Please read the attached portions of this ...
